Sedona–Oak Creek

Not too much you can say about the Sedona area.

Just make sure you have lots of room for photos on your media, batteries for the above, and – try to keep your eyes on the road when driving.  Super scenery in all directions.

Had the heli out for some photos …

Now, just waiting for the snow to melt and the temps to get warm again after a huge winter storm hit most of the southwest.

  1. Thanks for the pictures. We have been there more than once and love the area. This may sound weird, but one of our fun outings was to the Paige springs Fish Hatchery. It's day use only but there are forest service lands nearby for camping or Deadhorse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood. This whole area is just so beautiful. Be sure to go up to the Sedona airport for a great view.

  2. Beautiful Pictures. Heard the prairies are experiencing summer like weather and breaking records set in 1945. Go Figure. Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  5. We loved all the great scenery in the Sedonna area as well. The green forests & red rock mountain formations give Sedonna it's special charm. We were there in the fall when all the yellow leaves were still on the Sycamore trees. Beautiful.

  6. Wow if I were to take my cats on a road trip they would kill me, as it is when we moved they howled the whole time. You must have Hailey super well trained, and well adjusted.
Hey if you have not checked out Red Rock Coulie in SE Alberta I suggest it especially if you like desert type landscapes, however keep Hailey safe - they have black widow spiders and rattlers.
Great roadtrip blog, awesome pictures and of course super cute cat!
