Mostly photos this time – all in and around Fundy National Park, New Brunswick.
Hiked the trail from Herring Cove along the coast to Wolfe Point – and most of the way back. Some great ocean views on a nice trail.
Because of the record high tides of about 30 feet in the Bay of Fundy, the boats are high and dry about half the time, propped up on special supports. They can only leave port, or return on high tides.
Managed to get airborne a time or two, and found a deserted road on the hill above Alma to spend the nights.
Headed for PEI …
Pretty weird seeing boats sitting on the ground instead of sitting on the water........
ReplyDeleteHere, on Campobello Island they stay afloat, but they come a whole lot closer to the ground. Tide's 26-28ft.
